A native of California’s Newport Beach and Oahu’s North Shore, Nate Ricketts has always had an affinity for the treasures of the ocean. While working as an apprentice under Dan Marty in West Hollywood, California, he was inspired by vintage Victorian seashell pieces that they would import from Europe. Soon Nate began making his own unique art, using seashells from the Pacific, and the company was born. His attention to detail and whimsical style make his creations look just as perfect in an urban apartment as they do in a waterfront cottage.
